Punjab Assembly Unanimously Condemns Afghan Consul General for Disrespecting National Anthem

The Punjab Assembly on Monday unanimously passed a resolution condemning the Afghan Consul General for allegedly disrespecting Pakistan’s national anthem.

Government representative Amjad Ali Javed tabled the resolution, expressing strong disapproval of the Afghan diplomat’s conduct during an official event. The resolution called on the federal government to lodge a formal protest with Afghanistan, urging swift action.

It further stated that the federal government should convey the Pakistani public’s concerns to the Afghan authorities. The resolution was passed without opposition, reflecting a unified stance by the Assembly on the issue.
