Religious Affairs Ministry Opens Applications for Urs at Kalyar Sharif, India

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced the opening of applications for Pakistani pilgrims wishing to attend the annual Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir (RA) at India (Kalyar Sharif). Interested individuals must submit their Ziarat Forms by March 15, 2025.

According to official spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt, the Urs celebrations will be held from September 1 to September 8, 2025, in Kalyar Sharif, India. A total of 200 Pakistani pilgrims will be selected for the event.

If applications exceed the allocated quota, a balloting process will take place on April 15, 2025, at the Ministry of Religious Affairs to finalize the list of participants.

Application Process & Guidelines

  • Applicants can access the official form and submission guidelines on the ministry’s website and Facebook page.
  • Only the latest official form will be accepted; outdated versions will not be entertained.
  • The public is cautioned against third-party agents, as no individual, institution, or company has been authorized to collect or process applications on behalf of the ministry.
