The 14th death anniversary of renowned poet, lyricist, and Naat Khawan Muzaffar Warsi was observed today, honoring his immense contributions to Urdu literature and Islamic poetry.
Born in 1933 in Meerut, India, Muzaffar Warsi began his literary journey as a film lyricist but soon transitioned into writing Hamd and Naat, becoming one of the most respected poets in religious poetry. His works continue to inspire millions across the globe.
He was a recipient of the Pride of Performance Award, Pakistan’s prestigious civil honor, in recognition of his literary excellence.
Muzaffar Warsi passed away on January 28, 2011, in Lahore, but his poetic legacy remains alive in the hearts of poetry lovers and devotees of Islamic verse.
