The railway bridge in the Dozan area of Bolan, which was damaged due to sabotage, has been successfully repaired. According to railway authorities, train services will resume from Quetta to other parts of the country starting October 11.
A successful trial run was conducted, with a railway engine and train passing over the restored bridge. The Jaffar Express is scheduled to depart for Peshawar at 9 AM tomorrow, while the Bolan Mail is set to leave Quetta for Karachi on October 13.
Imran Hayat, the Divisional Superintendent of Railways Quetta, conducted an inspection of the trial run. This restoration follows the sabotage incident that occurred on August 26, which led to the bridge’s significant damage.
