Sania Mirza Appointed as Sports Ambassador by Dubai Sports Council

Dubai Sports Council has appointed former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza as its Sports Ambassador. The announcement was made during the Dubai Sports Retreat event held at the Museum of the Future.

Sania Mirza, a former world number one in women’s doubles and a six-time Grand Slam champion, shared the news with her fans on Instagram, expressing her excitement for the new role.

“It is an honor and joy to become the Sports Ambassador for Dubai,” Sania wrote, adding her gratitude to the Dubai Sports Council for granting her this prestigious opportunity.
