The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gifted 100 tons of dates to Pakistan, continuing its annual tradition of generosity and reinforcing the deep-rooted friendship between the two nations.
The formal handover ceremony took place at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad. Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, along with the Director of King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief), Abdullah Al-Baqami, presented the consignment to Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub, Director General of the Military Wing.
The initiative, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting the people of Pakistan. This annual donation symbolizes the enduring bonds of brotherhood and mutual respect between the two countries.
Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Saudi leadership, saying, “This noble act of solidarity not only strengthens our ties but also reflects the profound relationship our nations cherish.”
