Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Stance: No Diplomatic Ties with Israel Without Palestinian State
Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its unwavering stance, declaring that it will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel unless a sovereign Palestinian state is recognized, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
In a strongly worded statement, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman made it clear that the Kingdom’s position is non-negotiable. “Saudi Arabia’s commitment to the Palestinian cause remains steadfast, and there will be no normalization with Israel unless the Palestinian people are granted their legitimate rights,” the statement read.
The Kingdom also condemned Israeli policies of settlement expansion and forced displacement, calling them direct violations of Palestinian sovereignty. “We Don’t compromise upon the rights of the Palestinian people. Peace cannot be achieved through annexation and oppression,” the statement added.
Saudi Arabia urged the international community to take decisive action in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank, emphasizing that a just resolution is essential for long-term regional stability.
“The world must recognize that true peace is only possible when the Palestinian people attain full statehood in accordance with international laws and resolutions,” the Kingdom asserted, noting that this message has been consistently conveyed to U.S. administrations past and present.
This firm stance comes amid renewed discussions on Middle East diplomacy, reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s dedication to Palestinian statehood as a prerequisite for any potential future relations with Israel.
