According to diplomatic sources, Saudi authorities have officially notified Pakistan of the decision. Pakistani Umrah visa holders currently in the Kingdom have been instructed to return by April 29, while new entries under Umrah visas will only be allowed until April 13.
The 14 countries affected by the temporary visa ban include:
- Pakistan
- India
- Bangladesh
- Egypt
- Indonesia
- Iraq
- Nigeria
- Jordan
- Algeria
- Sudan
- Ethiopia
- Tunisia
- Yemen
Authorities have warned that violating the visa rules or overstaying beyond the allowed period may result in a five-year entry ban into Saudi Arabia.
The move is part of the Kingdom’s annual efforts to regulate pilgrim inflow and manage crowd control ahead of Hajj, ensuring a safe and organized pilgrimage.
