
Saudi Arabia Warns Against Threats to Two-State Solution, Demands Gaza Ceasefire

Riyadh — Saudi Arabia has renewed its call for an urgent end to the war in Gaza, urging the global community to intensify efforts to halt the humanitarian crisis and safeguard the two-state solution.
The statement followed a Cabinet session chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Muhammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince:
- Shared details of a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
- Briefed ministers on his meeting with Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh.
The Cabinet reviewed ongoing regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, stressing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to coordinating humanitarian aid delivery with global relief agencies.
The ministers highlighted the importance of the joint Saudi-Italian foreign ministers’ statement, which reaffirmed both countries’ support for a just, secure, and comprehensive Middle East peace settlement.
The Kingdom further condemned actions that undermine the two-state solution, reiterating its stance on the necessity of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
On the national front, the Cabinet welcomed King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s patronage of the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII), to be held October 27–30 in Riyadh.
Under the theme “The Key to Prosperity”, the event will focus on mobilizing global investment to achieve long-term economic sustainability and prosperity.
