
Saudi Delegation Applauds Pakistan Hajj Mission for Exceptional Pilgrim Services in 2025

MAKKAH AL MUKARRAMAH — A high-level delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on Monday commended the Pakistan Hajj Mission for delivering exemplary services and seamless arrangements during Hajj 2025.
Led by Deputy Minister Dr. Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat, the Saudi team included Assistant Deputy Minister for Hajj Operations Eyad bin Ahmed Rahbini and Director General of Hajj Affairs Dr. Badr Muhammad Al-Solami.
They were received by Pakistan’s Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, alongside Senior Joint Secretary Mirza Ali Mehmood, Chief Finance and Accounts Officer Zulfiqar Khan, and Director Hajj Makkah Aziz Ullah Khan.
During discussions, both sides emphasized maintaining a high level of cooperation, teamwork, and dedication for future Hajj operations, particularly Hajj 2026.
Deputy Minister Dr. Mashat lauded the Pakistan Hajj Mission’s outstanding organization, describing its professionalism and commitment as *“exemplary and commendable.”* He also congratulated Abdul Wahab Soomro for receiving the prestigious Labbaitam Award, acknowledging his leadership and the Mission’s excellent performance.
Abdul Wahab Soomro expressed appreciation for the visit and recognized the Saudi Ministry’s vital support in ensuring smooth Hajj operations for Pakistani pilgrims. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening this partnership for future pilgrimages.
The meeting concluded with a ceremonial exchange of commemorative shields, symbolizing the spirit of collaboration and mutual respect between the two countries in facilitating the sacred journey of Hajj.
