Saudi Royal Adviser Visits Sharjah Holy Quran Academy to Boost Cultural Cooperation
A senior adviser to the Saudi royal court, Imam & Preacher of the Grand Mosque in Makkah Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid paid an official visit to the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, underscoring a shared commitment between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to strengthen cultural and religious ties.
The delegation was received by Sheikh Sherzad Abdulrahman Taher, Secretary-General of the Holy Quran Academy, who guided the Saudi official through the academy’s advanced facilities, including its Quranic museums, rare manuscripts archive, and manuscript restoration laboratories.
During the visit, both sides discussed opportunities for collaboration in the preservation of Islamic heritage, digital archiving, and the promotion of Quranic education. The Saudi adviser praised the academy’s achievements in serving global Islamic scholarship and expressed strong interest in joint initiatives aimed at enhancing cultural and academic exchange between the two nations.
The visit reflects growing cooperation between Riyadh and Sharjah in the fields of religious education, heritage preservation, and scholarly research, reaffirming their shared vision of promoting Islamic values and traditions on an international platform.
