SCO Leaders Arrive in Islamabad, Prime Minister Hosts Welcome Dinner

Delegates and leaders from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries started arriving in Islamabad on Tuesday for the two-day summit. Ahead of the official meetings, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif extended a warm welcome by hosting a dinner reception in honor of the visiting dignitaries.

The prime minister greeted each leader personally, setting a friendly tone for the summit. Chinese Premier Li Qiang was welcomed with a warm handshake, and the exchange of smiles highlighted the close cooperation between the two nations.

The reception also saw the attendance of India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, who was received by Prime Minister Shahbaz. The brief handshake and exchange of courtesies between the two leaders came at a time of regional tension, adding a diplomatic layer to the evening’s proceedings.
