The Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, led by Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, held a high-level advisory council meeting in Makkah to assess preparations for Hajj 1446 AH. The council emphasized robust oversight, digital transformation, and enhanced service delivery for pilgrims.

During the meeting, Sheikh Al-Sudais stressed the importance of governance and accountability in executing the Presidency’s operational strategy. He reiterated that the well-being and spiritual fulfillment of the Guests of the Merciful (Zuyuf-ur-Rahman) remain a top priority.

The council discussed multiple initiatives to strengthen services and spiritual outreach, including:

  • Expanding the use of artificial intelligence and modern technologies
  • Broadcasting Hajj’s message in multiple languages
  • Monitoring departmental performance and service quality
  • Advancing digital programs to facilitate pilgrim services
  • Ensuring all teams are fully mobilized for the sacred season

Sheikh Al-Sudais called upon all sectors to operate at full capacity, ensuring every pilgrim receives optimal care and support. He underlined that all actions will be guided by the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and align with the vision of serving Islam’s holiest sites.

  • Sheikh Dr. Maher Al-Muaiqly, Imam of the Grand Mosque
  • Dr. Osama Al-Zamil, Advisor to the Presidency
  • Sheikh Dr. Yusuf Al-Wabel, Senior Scholar at the Grand Mosque

The Presidency is scheduled to release its complete Hajj 1446 operational plan in the coming days. This plan is expected to reflect institutional progress, strategic innovation, and alignment with the broader goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
