Sirbaz Khan Becomes First Pakistani to Conquer All 14 Peaks Above 8,000 Metres

Sirbaz Khan has made history as the first Pakistani mountaineer to summit all 14 of the world’s peaks above 8,000 metres, according to the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP).

Karrar Haidri, Secretary of ACP, hailed Sirbaz’s accomplishment as a testament to his “unwavering passion and dedication to the sport of mountaineering.”

Sirbaz’s monumental journey has taken him to the most perilous heights, including Mount Everest and K2, where he braved freezing temperatures, treacherous avalanches, and oxygen-depleted altitudes. Despite these extreme challenges, his resilience and strength have seen him rise to the top of the mountaineering world.

“This success is not just a personal achievement,” Haidri noted, “but an inspiration to mountaineers globally, showcasing the power of perseverance and meticulous preparation.” Sirbaz Khan’s record-setting achievement has firmly established him in the annals of mountaineering history, and his remarkable journey continues to inspire climbers worldwide.
