Social Media Campaign Against Judge: Imran Riaz Khan and 8 Others Charged by FIA

A case has been filed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime Wing against journalist Imran Riaz Khan and eight others for allegedly conducting a defamatory campaign against a judge on social media.

The complaint was lodged by Ahmad Siddiq, the judge’s nephew, under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). Among those named in the FIR is Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Anti-Corruption Advisor, Musaddiq Abbasi.

According to the complaint, the accused individuals spread false allegations of corruption against the judge, leading to the launch of an investigation. The FIR lists others involved in the case, including Mujahid Ali Shah, Allah Nawaz, Suhail Ahmad, Umar Siddiq, Sadiq Anjum, and Tariq Saleem.
