Speaker Punjab Assembly Announces Historic Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference

Speaker Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, announced the 1st Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Asia and Southeast Asia Regional Conference, set to be held on February 7-8 at the Punjab Assembly. He described it as Pakistan’s largest-ever CPA conference, focusing on smog, terrorism, peace, and regional affairs.
Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan emphasized that this historic event will strengthen Pakistan’s parliamentary identity and enhance global parliamentary collaboration. Over 100 parliamentary representatives from 20 countries, including 13 speakers, 4 deputy speakers, and a chairman, will participate. Delegates from Sri Lanka, the Maldives, the UK, Zambia, and Malaysia will engage in discussions on parliamentary democracy, transparent legislation, and accountability.
