Suicide Attack on FC Convoy in Baluchistan’s Kalat: One Soldier Martyred, Four Injured

A Frontier Corps (FC) convoy was targeted in a suicide attack in Kalat, Baluchistan, resulting in the martyrdom of one soldier and injuries to four others.

According to officials, the attack took place on Monday afternoon at the Mughalzai area along the Quetta-Karachi National Highway as the convoy of FC 61 Wing Commander was passing through.

Deputy Commissioner Kalat, Bilal Shabbir, confirmed that the explosion was carried out by a female suicide bomber. He stated that while one FC personnel lost his life and four others sustained injuries, the wing commander remained unharmed.

FC sources revealed that one of the injured soldiers is in critical condition. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the attack.
