Syria Conflict: Armed Groups Burn Six Villages and Civilians’ Funerals

Armed factions in Syria’s coastal regions have intensified attacks, setting fire to six villages and multiple civilian funeral processions. Reports indicate a surge in brutal incidents, raising concerns over the escalating violence.

According to Al Mayadeen, armed groups continue committing mass killings across rural Latakia, Tartous, Hama, and Homs. Over ten massacres have been reported, forcing residents to flee towards Russia’s Hmeimim military base for safety.

Security sources confirm the discovery of a mass grave in Qaradaha valley near Latakia, allegedly containing remains of Syrian Ministry of Defense personnel. Human Rights Watch Syria reports ongoing drone strikes and tank shelling in Tartous and Latakia, prompting desperate calls for help from civilians.

With increasing displacement and relentless violence, Syria’s humanitarian crisis deepens as armed conflicts continue to devastate local communities.
