FZ1125 took off at 4:17 p.m. from Dubai but landed at an airport in Riyadh over an hour later. Channel 12 reports that an Israeli passenger suffered a stroke and was hospitalized in Riyadh. The passengers are expected to continue to Tel Aviv within the hour, the report says. Israel does not have formal ties with Saudi Arabia, but the countries have inched closer in recent years, and were reportedly nearing a US-brokered diplomatic breakthrough before Hamas’s October 7, 2023, massacre.
