Three Policemen Martyred, 16 Injured in Bomb Attack on Police Truck in Pakistan
A tragic terrorist attack targeting a police transport vehicle in Mastung, Pakistan Balochistan, has claimed the lives of three personnel from the Balochistan Constabulary, leaving 16 others injured, including several critically.
The blast occurred near Shamsabad on Dasht Road, where a motorcycle packed with explosives was detonated remotely as the security forces were returning from routine duty. Police officials confirmed that the bomb was planted on a motorcycle and triggered via remote control.
Following the explosion, law enforcement agencies quickly reached the scene and launched an investigation. The martyred and injured shifted to medical facilities.
According to Shahid Rind, spokesperson for the Balochistan government, two of the injured are in critical condition and have been transferred to Quetta for advanced treatment. Emergency has been declared at Bolan Medical College Hospital and Civil Hospital Quetta to manage the situation.
National Condemnation
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the cowardly attack and expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyred personnel. The Prime Minister directed authorities to ensure the injured receive immediate and best possible medical care.
