TİKA Establishes Modern Computer Lab at University of Karachi

This initiative enhances the technological infrastructure of one of Pakistan’s leading educational institutions, established in 1951 following the country’s independence.
The modern facility was officially handed over to university officials during a ceremony attended by TİKA representatives, including Dursun Ali Yaşacan, Head of the East and South Asia, Pacific, and Latin America Department, and Cemal Sangu, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Karachi.
The establishment of the lab is part of TİKA’s broader commitment to fostering educational and technological collaboration between Pakistan and Türkiye. Speaking at the event, the Turkish delegation emphasized the importance of investing in education to strengthen bilateral ties and support the development of future generations.
University officials expressed gratitude to TİKA for its generous support, highlighting the lab’s potential to empower students and enhance the quality of education in Pakistan.
