U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly proposed turning Gaza into a “freedom zone” during private discussions in Qatar, as the death toll from Israeli airstrikes surpassed 80 in just two days of intensified bombing. Trump’s comments came amid renewed diplomatic efforts and mounting global concern over the humanitarian situation in the besieged Palestinian enclave.

The latest round of Israeli strikes targeted multiple areas across Gaza overnight, marking the second consecutive night of heavy bombardment. Local health authorities confirmed at least 83 fatalities and dozens more injured, as residential buildings, schools, and civilian infrastructure were struck.
