Trump Urges Israel to Open Gaza Aid Routes, Acknowledges ‘Real Starvation’

TURNBERRY, SCOTLAND – US President Donald Trump openly acknowledged the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, declaring that “real starvation” is taking place and calling on Israel to allow the delivery of “every ounce of food.”

During his state visit to the UK, Trump delivered the remarks during a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at Trump Turnberry, a golf resort in Scotland. The US president’s comments directly contradicted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who earlier denied any famine in Gaza, calling such reports “bold-faced lies.”

The rare public divergence from Israel’s official stance signals a potential shift in Washington’s policy amid growing international criticism.
