Turkish and Omani Envoys Hold Strategic Talks with Pakistan Naval Chief
Ambassadors of Turkiye and Oman, Irfan Neziroglu and Fahad Sulaiman respectively, met with Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad to strengthen bilateral maritime and defense cooperation.
According to a press release from the Directorate General Public Relations (Pakistan Navy), the discussions focused on regional security dynamics, mutual defense interests, and avenues to enhance naval collaboration.
Admiral Ashraf outlined the Pakistan Navy’s ongoing initiatives for regional peace, emphasizing the role of Regional Maritime Security Patrols in promoting maritime stability.
Both ambassadors appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to safeguarding regional waters and praised its leadership in advancing cooperative maritime security efforts.
They expressed a strong desire to deepen defense ties with Pakistan, particularly in maritime operations, training exchanges, and strategic coordination in regional security affairs.
The high-level engagements are expected to further solidify the long-standing defense partnerships between Pakistan and the two friendly nations, enhancing cooperation between their respective armed forces.
