UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has stated that the United Arab Emirates will not support any post-war plans for Gaza unless a Palestinian state is established.
In a statement on X, the UAE’s top diplomat emphasized, “The UAE is not willing to back even one more day in Gaza without the creation of a Palestinian state.”
Former UAE Minister of State and diplomatic advisor Anwar Gargash echoed this position, stressing that Sheikh Abdullah’s remarks affirm the UAE’s rejection of any solution that falls short of a two-state agreement between Palestine and Israel.
Gargash added, “Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed’s declaration underscores our firm commitment to the Palestinian cause and our belief that stability in the region depends on the two-state solution.”
