UAE Lifts Travel Ban on Lebanon Starting May 7 to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
Report By Safarti Tarjuman International Desk
The United Arab Emirates has officially announced the removal of its travel ban on Lebanon, allowing Emirati nationals to travel to the country beginning May 7, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Sunday.
This diplomatic decision was made under the directives of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to enhance relations with Lebanon. The move aims to support mutual cooperation and deepen fraternal ties between both nations.
The development follows an official visit by Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to the UAE, during which he held key discussions with the Emirati leadership. Their talks focused on advancing bilateral collaboration, improving economic partnerships, and facilitating citizen mobility.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the safety and well-being of Emirati travelers remains a top priority. All citizens planning to visit Lebanon are urged to follow the official travel guidelines and safety instructions to ensure secure and responsible travel.
