US Airstrikes on Yemen Kill 31, Including Women and Children

The United States has launched a series of airstrikes on Yemen, killing at least 31 people, most of them women and children, according to local sources. The strikes followed President Donald Trump’s warning that “hell will rain down” on the Houthi rebel group.

The attacks come in response to the Houthis’ renewed threats to target Israel-linked vessels in the Red Sea, citing the ongoing total blockade of Gaza, now entering its third week. The escalating tensions have raised concerns over regional stability, with fears of broader military confrontations involving multiple parties.

While the US has justified the strikes as a measure to deter threats to international shipping routes, humanitarian groups have condemned the civilian casualties, calling for restraint and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation.

The international community is closely monitoring developments as tensions in the Red Sea continue to intensify.
