Vienna to Host Global Digital Security Forum in June 2025
The 4th International Digital Security Forum (IDSF 2025) is set to take place from June 4 to 6 at Museums Quartier Vienna, bringing together global leaders to address cybersecurity challenges, digital resilience, and international tech cooperation.
With the theme “Balancing Sovereignty and Solidarity in the Digital Age,” the event will focus on data protection, AI-driven security risks, quantum computing threats, and strategies for global digital governance. It will feature key policymakers, industry experts, cybersecurity specialists, and academic researchers, all working towards strengthening international collaboration in the digital space.
The forum is organized by the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in partnership with Austria’s Ministry of European and International Affairs and various global institutions. Building on the success of the 2023 edition, which welcomed hundreds of participants from over 30 nations, this year’s conference will introduce expert discussions, policy panels, and workshops on safeguarding critical digital infrastructure, combating cyber threats, and ensuring responsible AI integration.
Additionally, a dedicated session by the Vienna Centre for Societal Security (VICESSE) on June 5 will examine the societal and ethical implications of digital transformation, featuring voices from law, civil rights, and technology sectors.
