Yemeni Forces Claim Missile Strikes on Ben Gurion Airport and U.S. Aircraft Carrier
Yemen’s armed forces have claimed responsibility for launching ballistic missile attacks on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport and a U.S. aircraft carrier in the Red Sea, marking a significant escalation in regional tensions.
According to Yemeni military spokesperson General Yahya Saree, the strikes successfully targeted Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv using Zulfiqar and hypersonic “Palestine 2” missiles. The attack was described as a direct response to continued aggression in Gaza.
In addition, General Saree stated that multiple missile strikes were launched at a U.S. naval fleet in the Red Sea over the past 24 hours. He claimed that these sustained attacks forced American warships to retreat, countering what Yemen views as U.S.-led aerial aggression.
The military spokesperson warned that operations against Israeli-linked vessels and targets inside occupied territories will continue until all hostilities in Gaza cease and a ceasefire agreement is honored.
These developments come amid escalating conflict in the region, with Yemeni forces intensifying attacks against Israeli and allied assets. The situation continues to evolve, raising concerns about further military confrontations in the Middle East.
